20/03/2025 - Initially conceived for indoor use by designer duo GamFratesi as a sculptural tribute to classical architecture, the GUBI Epic Table moves outdoors to terraces, gardens, and other open-air spaces in a new, more resilient Botanic Green quartzite material. This latest iteration of the table with a monumental presence expands the possibilities for alfresco dining, redefining outdoor living.
True to its name, the silhouette of the Epic Outdoor Dining Table is made up of a circular or elliptical top supported by a monolithic hexagonal base - evoking the monumentality of ancient columns. No longer in travertine and steel, the quartzite version is characterized by distinctive veining, durability and chromatic depth. Formed by intense heat and geological pressure over millennia, quartzite combines the visual elegance of marble with the strength of granite, making it a perfect material for outdoor use.
Quartzite is harder, less porous, and more scratch-resistant than other stones, ensuring longevity in outdoor conditions. Furthermore, its low water absorption and built-in drainage protect the table from sub-zero temperatures. Its surface - an intricate pattern of black veins, grey swirls and white crystal clusters - creates its unique character. The deep green color follows contemporary trends of organic palettes that foster a sense of calm and serenity, its natural tones mirroring outdoor landscapes, whether formal or informal, manicured or wild.

The table is available in two sizes to accommodate different needs – a four-seater circular version or an eight-seater elongated ellipse. Each top is precision cut and finished by hand with a corrosion-resistant bolt that secures the top to its monumental base.
