The unique aesthetic charm of this collection sets the Capitol Complex Sofa apart, preserving the same stylistic features and production techniques employed for the Capitol Complex Armchair. The ample padding that envelops the seat, armrests and backrest of the sofa signals an immediate sense of comfort; upholstered in leather or fabric, these padded sofa elements embrace the iconic inverted ‘V’-shaped wood structure, leitmotiv of this tribute.
A synthesis of the productive excellence of the Cassina carpentry workshop, the sofa’s structure is available in four essences of premium wood: teak for the historic version; natural oak; stained black oak; and oak stained dark walnut.

In this family of furniture, the inherent value of each iconic piece is certified through the “Hommage à Pierre Jeanneret” logo on the wooden structure and the Cassina label sewn on the rear of the backrest.
Chandigarh: a masterpiece of Modernity
Tied to the fascinating history of Chandigarh, the Indian city designed by Le Corbusier in the 1950s, this collection tributes Pierre Jeanneret, a key figure in the creation of the city and considered the author of a great part of its furniture.
